ACCC Competition for Choral Writing

As part of its mandate to promote Canadian choral music, the ACCC is once again pleased to announce this year’s competition for choral writing in conjunction with its associated publisher, Cypress Choral Music (www.cypresschoral.com). The goal of the competition is to stimulate Canadian composers to write music and to encourage choirs throughout Canada to commission and perform new Canadian works. The winning work will be published by Cypress Choral Music (available for purchase at Podium 2012) and performed by the National Youth Choir at Podium, May 2012, in Ottawa.
