The Chorus Management Institute, January 28 - 30, 2011, Washington, DC

The Chorus Management Institute (CMI) is the closest thing to a chorus management “crash course” you’ll ever experience. Expert faculty will deliver valuable information and best practices in strategic thinking & planning, governance & board development, communications, and fundraising. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, Chorus America is pleased to announce a complementary registration fee for Emerging Leaders for the Chorus Management Institute in Washington, DC, January 28-30, 2011.
You'll come home with tons of new information and strategies that you can implement in your chorus right away! This four-part seminar is a wonderful tool for any chorus leader, whether you serve as music directors, administrative staff, board members, singers who would like to become more involved, or any combination of these roles.

Do I Qualify?

  • An Emerging Leader is anyone 35 or under who works with a chorus.
  • The registration fee is waived, but the individual must stay at the Churchill Hotel for at least two nights.
  • Limited complementary registrations are available; the offer is only valid until the CMI has reached its capacity.
  • Emerging Leaders must register for the CMI and make a reservation at the Churchill Hotel by January 6, 2011.
  • Please note, Emerging Leaders from the DC area are still eligible for the $100 registration fee while available, which does not require a hotel stay.
