An international jury has finalized the selection of new members for the World Youth Choir, including Canadian singers and former NYC members, Eve Richardson and Nathan McDonald. New members will join re-invited singers from the choir’s 2010 session for an unforgettable social and artistic life time experience, August 4th—September 3rd in Cyprus. New singers were selected from 188 singers from 44 countries who applied/auditioned for World Youth Choir.
The World Youth Choir is a project of the Foundation "World Youth Choir", supported by three patron offices: the European Choral Association - Europa Cantat; the International Federation for Choral Music and the Jeunesses Musicales International. In 1996, the UNESCO honored the World Youth Choir with the title "Artist for peace", recognizing its success as a platform for intercultural dialogue through music.
