National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs 2011 Winners Announced

The Association of Canadian Choral Communities (ACCC), in partnership with the Canada Council for the Arts and CBC Radio/Radio-Canada, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. The awards were presented on July 6 during the Opening Gala Concert of Festival 500 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning choirs will be highlighted on CBC's Choral Concert with host Peter Togni on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

Second Place: University of Alberta Concert Choir Conductor: Debra Cairns

Category 6: Adult SATB Choirs
