Baroque Masters features Schütz’ "Musikalische Exequien", Buxtehude’s "Alles, was ihr tut", JS Bach’s "Der Geist hilft", Charpentier’s "Nisi Dominus" and Telemann’s "Fürwahr, er trug unsre Krankheit" and "Rufe mich an in der Zeit". The choir is joined by several soloists, including Agnes Zsigovics, Nils Brown, Michiel Schrey and Alex Dobson, and baroque orchestra playing on period instruments. The performance will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 8:00 p.m., at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Ottawa.
The concert will also be recorded and broadcast on CBC Radio 2's Choral Concert hosted by Peter Togni on December 12th at 9:00am.
