Mireille Theriault is a staff writer at the MB Teacher working on an article about the apparent increased popularity of vocal and choir groups and would like to speak with people, particularly in Manitoba, who can provide evidence of this trend.
Statistics from the US indicate that high schools and universities for example have seen a dramatic increase in interest and participation in the performing arts (actually termed the “Glee Effect” ) over the last couple of years tied to the popularity of programs like “Glee”, "...Idol" "The Voice" and others.
