The Fredericton Choral Society and Fredericton Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of David Adams, will perform Handel's Messiah, Parts II and III on Good Friday, April 2, 2010 at 8 pm at Wilmot United Church, Fredericton.
Known as the "Easter Messiah", these sections of the great oratorio tell the story of the crucifixion and resurrection and include many wonderful choruses—Behold the Lamb of God, Lift up your Heads, the inspired Amen, and the Hallelujah Chorus. Soloists are Lise Roy, soprano; Aurélie Cormier, alto; David Steeves, tenor, and Paul Bustin, bass. Tickets: $20 Adults; $15 Seniors/Students; $5 Children.
