Grand Philharmonic Choir Presents: Verdi: Requiem and Gala Farewell Reception for Howard Dyck

As a gala conclusion to the season and to his long tenure with the Grand Philharmonic Choir, Howard Dyck has chosen a work which has played a pivotal role in his career. Verdi’s dramatic Requiem has never been surpassed in its beauty, power and pathos. Four celebrated opera stars join the choir and orchestra in this grand climax to an unforgettable season.  May 8, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Centre In The Square, 101 Queen Street N., Kitchener.
With the Grand Philharmonic Choir, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and soloists Sondra Radvanovsky, soprano; Marie-Nicole Lemieux, contralto; Richard Margison, tenor; Nathan Berg, bass-baritone and Howard Dyck, conductor.
