From BC, The Phoenix Chamber Choir perform “On the Threshold of Heaven”
From Gregorian Chant to Gospel, to the crystalline sounds of Latvian composer Rihards Dubras, the Phoenix Chamber Choir brings heaven to earth this Sunday with a program dedicated to all things celestial and otherworldly. Tune in this Sunday, 9:00 - 11:00 am, (9:30 - 11:30 NT) on CBC Radio 2, and find out why the choir won first place 12 times in row in the CBC National Choral Competition for Amateur Choirs.
You’ll also hear a remarkable performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in a choir version performed by France’s versatile choir “Accentus”.
