The Ihlombe! South African Choral Festival is the largest international choral gathering in South Africa, which in its inaugural year of 2009 brought together 14 American and South African choirs in 6 diverse concerts and 8 choral workshops.  Ihlombe offers a one of a kind choral experience in dynamic settings like Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Soweto, as well as visit a scenic game park. Serenade! Washington, DC Choral Festival

2011
June 23-26 4 days/3 nights

As a participant of the Serenade! Washington, DC Choral Festival, choirs will experience individual shared choir concerts in cathedrals, churches, schools, halls and National Monuments.  You will also get to take part in a number of choral workshops with leading choral conductors.
Take part in the historic tradition of Choral Evensong Services in prestigious cathedrals, churches and basilicas.  Enjoy sightseeing in Washington, DC, Alexandria, Baltimore and surrounding areas, possibly including the National Smithsonian Museums, the National Capitol Building, the White House and the National Monuments.
